When you beat the campaign you can then go back and work on any unlocks you have not finished and try to get Platinums. You will now be able to use all characters for the other 5 Shanghai missions. Work on this first, then just restart the mission and go for the best time. To unlock all the Shanghai characters you have to get 10 head shots with Sideways. For example, the first Decepticon Shanghai mission you use Sideways. They are a huge help in getting better times. Pay attention to the Unlockables though as you will want to unlock the characters as soon as possible.
Playthrough each campaign going for the Platinum times. The cheats do disable achievements and saving. No achievement requires Ranked matches, but a few like the viral do require other players. There is a multiplayer mode which you can get most of the achievements through player matches by yourself. The entire game is based around these times.
